The announcement, released today, June 18th, 2025, detailed the individuals selected to serve as officials for each region nationwide.
In the Eastern Region—comprising Kenema, Kailahun, and Kono Districts—Alhassan George has been selected as the Returning Officer, with Rosamond Mattia appointed as a Member.
For the Southern Region, which includes Bo, Bonthe, Moyamba, and Pujehun Districts, Dr. Prince Alex Harding has been assigned the role of Returning Officer, while Francis A. Kallon has been appointed as a Member.
In the Northwest Region, covering Kambia, Karene, and Port Loko Districts, Alhajie Alpha Kallon has been chosen to serve as Returning Officer, with Dr. Robert Chankanda named as a Member.
In the Northeast Region—encompassing Bombali, Falaba, Koinadugu, and Tonkolili Districts—Desmond Pessima will act as Returning Officer, accompanied by Ibrahim Fayia Sawaneh as a Member.
For the Western Region, which includes both the Western Urban and Western Rural areas, Lawrence Lahai Leema has been appointed as the Returning Officer, with Dwight Satbyghor Sherif selected as a Member.
